Description
The active substance in milk thistle is silymarin, which helps regenerate damaged liver cells and large tissue sections, by activating protein synthesis in liver cells through increased genetic material (DNA-RNA) activity. It also protects liver cells by preventing toxins from entering them and neutralizing toxins that have already entered. Additionally, it favorably alters liver enzyme levels and improves symptoms of induced toxic organ damage, while helping prevent damage from chemical drugs.
